Webpage for the chilean community to preserve the spirit and tradition of the Mapuche sport palín
Trabun is a digital platform of the Chilean Ministry of Sport to provide information on school palín tournaments to be held between schools and to register teams. At the same time, it is a source of information on the history of sports and Mapuche culture. This is accompanied by the development of the microsite of the Ministry of Sports of Chile and a microsite on the history of the sport.

Our name derives from the mapudung "trabun" which means "to be united". We seek to promote the union of the Mapuche community through the traditional Palín sport, so our identity is deeply linked to the sense of connection and community.
The target for our website are adults, both men and women, between 30 and 50 years old, in charge of education in schools, especially in the Araucanía region, made up of the provinces of Cautín and Malleco. They are the ones who promote the practice of this sport as part of keeping the Mapuche tradition alive through the generations.
The isotype is made up of two weños or sticks with which palín is played, united in the center by a popular symbol in Mapuche textiles, which refers to the union of the communities of this town. The humanistic typography "Latina Essential" made by Chilean typographers who continue with our concept of unity and belonging was used for the logo.
The chosen black, white and red are found not only in the Mapuche flag, but also in the traditional Mapuche textile patterns, originating from the pigments found in nature used in the past.
